The Labour Market Group is reporting an ‘outstanding increase’ in job postings in Parry Sound month-over-month to start the year.
There were 148 jobs postings in January. That’s up nearly 75% compared to December and up nearly 15% compared to January of last year.
A total of 46 unique employers posted jobs in January. LMG says that’s a 100% increase month-over-month and 24% increase year-over-year..
The top five employers posting jobs include:
- District of Parry Sound Social Services Administration Board
- West Parry Sound Health Centre
- Ontario Health
- The Home Depot – Parry Sound
- Town of Parry Sound
Health Care & Social Assistance was the top hiring industry, followed by Home/Personal Support Worker.
