A 51-year-old Parry Sound man is facing charges for unauthorized possession of a prohibited firearm.
That’s according to West Parry Sound OPP, who investigated a threat complaint on Albert Street shortly after midnight on March 7.
Police say, during the investigation one person was found to be carrying a handgun and was arrested by police.
The accused is facing several charges, including carrying a concealed weapon.
He is slated to appear in Parry Sound court on March 14.
