White Squall’s annual International Film Festival and silent auction fundraiser once again was a huge success.
Co-organizer Tim Dyer says the March 22 event at the Stockey Centre raised more than $16,000 for the West Parry Sound Recreation and Cultural Cente.
“We are filling up the pool one bucket at a time – and we can’t stop now,” says Dyer.
So far, more than $1.2 million has been raised for the project – roughly 25% of the $5 million fundraising goal.
The pool is slated to open in mid-March of 2026.
