A local country music artist needs your vote
Sully Burrows, a country music artists from Parry Sound, is one of eight semi-finalists in the 2025 Top of the Country competition hosted by the Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA), in partnership with SiriusXM Canada.
Burrows graduated from Parry Sound High last year and has since released two singles. He, along with the other seven semi-finalists, has recorded an original track for the competition.
Each song is now available online at topcountry.siriusxm.ca. Voting opened April 1 and will run until April 7.
“The caliber of Canadian talent grows stronger every year of this competition,” said Michelle Mearns, senior vice-president of programming and operations with SiriusXM Canada.
“We can’t wait for Canadians to hear these incredible artists, vote for their favourites, and be part of the journey.”
Three finalists will have a chance to perform at CMA Fest in Nashville, and the winner will receive $25,000.
