Significant progress is being made on the construction of the West Parry Sound Recreation and Cultural Centre.
That’s according to Seguin Township CAO Jason Inwood, who provided a brief update at a meeting last Wednesday.
“There is significant progress underway with major milestones being achieved in the last number of weeks, and even more major milestones on the immediate horizon,” said Inwood. “Again, despite Mother Nature’s wrath, they just continue to forge foward and continue to make very positive progress.”
Crews from Ball Construction have recently completed the structural steel and metal roof deck.
Officials say interior underground plumbing is slated to begin in May, and interior masonry work is slated for June, with pool installation coming later this summer.
The project is on track to be completed mid-May of 2026.
