A workshop is being held in Parry Sound to discuss reptiles at risk. Scales Nature Park and the Georgian Bay Biosphere Reserve are hosting the free Advanced Workshop on Thursday January 30th from 1:00pm-4:00pm at the Museum on Tower Hill. The Reptiles at Risk Advanced Workshop is an interactive training workshop featuring live reptiles, many of which are species at risk and is a great opportunity to increase the knowledge of our local reptiles and gain hands-on experience. Topics will include species identification, life history, conservation status and threats, possible mitigation strategies, and relevant legislation. For more information or to register for this workshop, please contact Glenda Clayton at info@gbbr.ca or phone 705-774-0978.
