A new Union Gas pipeline could be coming to Ontario

There could come a time that sees Union Gas build a new pipeline in Ontario.  President Steve Baker says Alberta is pushing less gas through its lines meaning Union has to look at alternatives to keep energy prices down.  Baker says the good news is the U-S has been developing shale gas.  He says to tap into that American market, Union Gas would probably have to build a new pipeline that goes through some of the Great Lakes.  Baker made the comments at a North Bay chamber of commerce meeting adding the utility is working on this proposal.
