More snow could be on the way this weekend

The blowing snow warning for Parry Sound has ended but a special weather statement is out for this weekend.

Environment Canada says a low pressure system from the Southern United States is expected to affect much Ontario Saturday into Sunday morning.

The weather agency is not sure of the exact track of the low, but early indications suggest that areas north of a line from Goderich to Kingston could see up to 15cm of snow.

Areas south of that line could see snow changing to rain with a risk of freezing rain.
