It was standing room only for a public meeting in Seguin.
Last night, Seguin residents packed the Humphrey Community Centre to have their input heard on the proposed Clean, Clear, and Safe By-law that has been drafted by council.
The majority of those in attendance were against the by-law saying the eight-page document was too vague and that it infringed on their rights as property owners. Â Another common issue with the draft by-law was that it was complaint-based, which many residents felt it would pit neighbour against neighbour and cause a divide in the township.
Township staff will summarize the comments for council to review and then consider the by-law at a future meeting.
