The Town of Parry Sound is honouring a former resident.
At last night’s meeting, council voted in favour of raising a Canadian flag at the municipal office to honour Michael Cunningham. Cunningham will be the first Canadian to be named Worship Master of the Masonic Lodge Harmony #9 in Cranston, Rhode Island on November 15th.
He was born at Parry Sound General Hospital in 1971 and always prides himself of his Canadian and Parry Sound roots.
