Local OPP want residents to be aware of cyber criminals

Our local OPP is trying to build public awareness about cyber scams.

This month is the Cyber Security Awareness Month campaign.

The OPP will be joining other police services and subject matter experts to promote awareness and help prevent residents from becoming victims of online crime.  Officials say this month they will be focusing on Wi-Fi password protection, phishing scams, email attachments and online child safety.
