Impaired driver arrested after RIDE stop in Machar. Almaguin Highlands OPP was conducting a RIDE check at the intersection of Eagle Lake Road and Park Road last Thursday. Around 11:15pm that night, a truck came through and spoke to the officer who later arrested the driver for having over 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood. The 25-year-old man from Sundridge was charged and later released from custody and will face his charge in court later next month.
