Police have charged a snowmobiler with drinking and sledding. This past Saturday, just after 2:30 in the morning, West Parry Sound OPP stopped a snowmobile on Waubeek Street in the Town of Parry Sound. Officers say the driver showed signs of intoxication which led to a roadside investigation which resulted in the driver being arrested and taken to the detachment for breath tests. The 28-year-old from Parry Sound was charged with drive while disqualified and driving with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in his blood. He’ll face those charges in a Parry Sound court on March 20th.
