Parry Sound and area non-profit organizations will continue to receive financial support from Ontario’s Trillium Fund in 2018.
Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport, Eleanor McMahon, announced Tuesday in Toronto, that the provincial government will remain committed to making sure that local communities remain strong and vibrant.
In the Parry Sound region alone, over $425,000 is being ear-marked for local non-profit groups over a 36 month period.
The St. James Centre for Community, Whispering River Orchestra, and the Magnetawan First Nation are just some of the non-profits approved for funding this month and in June.
