The next municipal election may be next fall, but Parry Sound Town Council is making sure you can cast your vote wherever you are on Election Day.
Council voted, once again, to eliminate paper ballots and go fully electronic for the 2018 election. The move continues a trend that began in 2014. Registered voters can now make their choices from home using either the internet or a phone.
Town of Parry Sound clerk, Jackie Boggs says it’s important to check the voters’ list in late February or early March to make sure you are signed up to vote, regardless if you made the list for the last election.
Once on the list, voters using a secured internet source can vote from anywhere in the world.
