Parry Sound Town Council moves forward with the 2018 budget approval after a special council meeting last night.
Members of the community were given a chance to speak to the proposed budget and offer their input.
The process continues with another special meeting on January 9th.
Director of Finance and POA Court Services Trevor Pinn says this is also an opportunity for public input.
During the meeting Director Pinn addressed issues ranging from keeping taxes down to projects removed from the this year’s budget, such as the proposed Splash Pad and extended Wi-Fi in the downtown district.
Another opportunity for public deputations will be next Tuesday night at council’s regular meeting at 7pm
