Snowmobilers in the Parry Sound region are hoping for a gift of colder temperatures this Christmas.
Wet conditions within OFSC District 10 have kept all trails closed.
Parry Sound Snowmobile District Administrator Tracey McCans says despite the snow, the underlying base has yet to freeze.
McCans also says there are reports of a one hundred foot waterhole on the Seguin Trail.

While there is no definite estimate of when trails will open, McCans says the popular Seguin Trail will probably be among the first.
