It may not be as fast as e-mail but it’s a lot more fun.
This year marks the 34th running of the Seguin Sled Dog Mail Run.
The event has dog teams delivering specially prepared envelopes or “sledvelopes” along a 17-kilometre route between Humphrey and Rosseau.
The teams begin their trek at Highway 141 and wind their way through the bush until they reach the Rosseau Post Office.

Activities for the kids and a breakfast at 8:00 am kick-off the event at the Humphrey Community Centre on Saturday, February 17th.
Sledvelopes can be purchased at the Seguin Township Municipal Office, Humphrey Arena, and any branch of the branch of the Seguin Public Library.
They also can be bought on the day of the event at the community centre.
Cost is $3.50 a letter.
