Carling Township is asking, have you gotten your dog tags yet.
Dog tags will be free until May 1st, provided your dog has been vaccinated for rabies.
After May 1st, tags will cost you $20 per dog if it’s been spayed or neutered and $40 if it hasn’t.
The township says registering your dog will allow them to return your dog directly to you if its missing or goes off your property.
You can pick up your dog tags with proof of rabies vaccination at the Carling Township Office at 2 West Carling Bay Road.
