Round up your favourite ladies and head downtown for the Parry Sound Girlfriends’ weekend.
The 2nd Annual Girlfriends’ Weekend begins this Friday night at Pardon My Garden (35 Seguin St. ) for a welcome party beginning at 5:00 pm.
Susan Hrycyna is the Executive Director of the Parry Downtown Business Association.
She says the point of the event is to help promote local businesses.
There will be music by Billy Mack, snacks and drinks from local breweries and winemakers.
Saturday is filled with a variety of workshops including things like yoga, wreath making and there is an Artisan Christmas Craft Show at the Stockey Centre.
The event then rolls into the Optimist Club’s Santa Claus Parade which rolls through the downtown at about 5:00pm.
