PARRY SOUND, ON-Canadian Blood Services is looking for donors while they are in Parry Sound.
Elane St. Pierre the Territory Manager for Simcoe Muskoka said while they are in Parry Sound today they are encouraging people to come and give blood.
She said the type they are specifically looking for is O negative as it is the universal blood type, “It is the one that hospitals are really in demand for, so we ask anyone with that blood type to consider donating.”
Blood Services are at St. Peter’s in the Knights of Columbus Hall today and will be returning on March 27th. If you would like to book an appointment before, you can go to the services site here.
