Highway 69 re-opens after collision

PARRY SOUND, ON-Highway 69 north of Pointe Au Baril is now open to alternating traffic after a collision.

The West Parry Sound OPP said that there was a multiple vehicle collision involving a tractor-trailer at around 9:30 a.m. that closed off both north and southbound traffic for a few hours. 

The investigation is ongoing, but it was confirmed that one person was taken to the trauma centre in Sudbury, although there is no word on their current condition.
