Cassellholme confirms three more essential caregivers retested negative

Cassellholme confirmed on Tuesday that three more essential caregivers that were retested via the mobile COVID testing unit, have confirmed negative results. 

The North Bay Long-term care home says to date, two staff members have tested positive both of which came up negative when retested. 

Ten essential caregivers tested positive, nine of them retested negative and one is isolating out of the District and is unable to be retested.

Casselholme says residents who had close contact with people who tested positive on February 16th were immediately isolated and have remained so. 

Those residents were retested on Tuesday and are awaiting results with residents set to be retested on Thursday as requested by the local health unit.
