Ontario is reporting a record one-day high of over 9,000 new COVID-19 cases.
The province added 9,571 new cases on Friday with the rolling seven-day average reaching 4,922.
Six new deaths were also recorded over the last day.
Test positivity is at 18.7 per cent.
164 people are in intensive care across the province.
