Self-proclaimed inaugural First Nation virtual celebration in the works

The Anishinabek Nation is celebrating their recently proclaimed national holiday, Anishinaabe next week.

Communication director Marcie Becking says their First Nations’ greatest strength is their Anishinaabe ways including language, culture, history, and traditions.

She adds the virtual presentation set for June 6th will be a celebration of the first anniversary of the proclamation of their constitution.
