Parry Sound resident charged in Balm Beach shoplifting spree 

A Parry Sound resident is facing several charges after a series of shoplifting incidents. 

According to Southern Georgian Bay OPP, on Saturday an investigation was opened into several thefts at a convenience store in Tiny Township’s Balm Beach. 

Officials say a 63-year-old Parry Sound resident has been arrested and charged with five counts of theft under $5,000 and one count of possession of property obtained by crime. 

Police are keeping the accused in custody ahead of a bail hearing.
