The Township of Carling is moving forward with plans to develop a park near Carling Bay Marina.
Officials say the township acquired a lot on Bayview Drive as part of a subdivision agreement signed in 2018. This land was designated as parkland and set aside.
Officials are now seeking thoughts and ideas from the public regarding what should be included in the park in hopes of developing a vision they can eventually bring to life.
A survey is now online. It asks residents what features they’d like to see in the park. Amenities such as volleyball nets, a swing set, and splash pad are included in the list.
The survey, which can be accessed here, is available until January 15.
