Sled dogs teams will gather in Humphrey tomorrow for the 31st annual Seguin Sled Dog Mail Run. There are eleven teams taking part in this year’s event that will carry sledvelopes 17 kilometres from the Humphrey Community Centre to the Rosseau Post Office along groomed trails. Once the teams arrive in Rosseau, they bring the sledvelopes to the Post Mistress who hand stamps them, an old method of cancelling mail. Over the years, the sledvelopes have been collector items all over the world. Sledvelopes can be purchased at the Humphrey Community Centre before the teams leave at around 9:45am.
